The Chamber is sad to report the death of Charter Member Brian Baird.  Brian was a charter member of the Chamber, a long time member, and a friend to many of us. He ran unsuccessfully for the Newcastle City Council a number of years ago and was active in the incorporation of our city.  Friends remember Brian as being a real outdoorsman and a frequent participant in our road cleanup day. He asked that there be no funeral services.  We send our condolences to Brian's family and friends.

Boy Scout Troop 499 is collecting Ink Cartridges.  Donate your empty brand name cartridges to the Boy Scouts for their recycling and fundraising program.
